About This Resource
Venture Capital Status is an independent, anonymously authored research site documenting the political and economic projects of Silicon Valley venture capital. It is roughly the length of a nonfiction book, organized into nineteen chapters, and every substantive claim is linked to a primary or published source.
We did not write it. We do not know who did. We link to it because it is the most complete single survey of this subject we have found, and because its author has asked that it be cited and shared.
The site’s own framing, from its homepage: it is independent research, drawn entirely from publicly available material, and readers are asked to verify the information, use it, and share it.

Credit and License
All research, writing and compilation on Venture Capital Status is the work of its anonymous author, not of NoEthicsInBigTech.com.
The site is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal, a formal waiver of copyright by its author.
Two things worth understanding about that dedication:
CC0 covers only what the author themselves wrote. The site quotes extensively from journalism and published books — the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Wired, and others. Those passages remain the property of their publishers and are used on that site as quotation. The CC0 dedication does not extend to them, and neither does any republication right.
For that reason, we link rather than reproduce. We would encourage anyone building on this work to do the same, and to follow the site’s citations back to the original reporting — which is where the real credit belongs, and where the strongest version of any argument is found.
